You will learn how to create a design using the Cricut Maker 4 with heat transfer vinyl, and adhering the image with the large heat press. Your personalized tote will be perfect for all your autumn outings! Ages: 15+ Time: 9AM-11AM Location: Innovation Studio (Arts and Innovation HUB) All materials will be provided. Ages 15 and older can attend this class and work with the Cricut and heat press independently.

Needle Felting Class
Innovation Studio 113 N Walnut Street, Batesville, IN, United StatesNeedle Felting is one of the oldest forms of textile arts. Needle felting begins by rolling a small amount of wool and stabbing it with a needle. It is a quick hobby to learn, and many find it stress-relieving. We will be making felted fall leaves! This is a FREE program and all material will be supplied. Ages: 18+ (adults) Location: Innovation Studio (Arts & Innovation HUB) Time: 1-3pm Registration is required.

Ukulele Club
Meeting Room ABThe Ukulele Club is a club for anyone who plays or wants to learn how to play the Ukulele. We have fun singing and playing all kinds of music! Music sheets are provided. The Ukulele Club meets every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at the library, from 6:00 - 7:30pm. If you are a beginner please join us at 6:00pm. Batesville Library has FREE Ukuleles for checkout if you are interested in playing or learning to play. For more information about this club please contact Janey at psteph@etczone.com. Ages: Free for kids ages 12-17 years old Location: Meeting Room A Time: 4:15-5pm The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) empowers tweens/teens to make their voices heard at the library. TAB members help shape teen programs, suggest new materials, promote library events, and create a welcoming, inclusive space for all young people in the community. By joining, you as a teen can build leadership skills, earn volunteer hours, and make a real impact on our community. 3D Printer Certification Class 9AM
Innovation Studio 113 N Walnut Street, Batesville, IN, United StatesRegistration is required. This is a FREE class. Ages: 12+(with an adult) 15+ independently Location: Innovation Studio (Arts & Innovation HUB) Time: 9AM-10AM Register for this in-person class to become a Certified User of the 3D Printers in the Innovation Studio. Completion of this training is needed to use any of the four 3D printers at the Arts and Innovation Hub. Registration is required Ages 12 to 14 may register for a learner’s permit certification, but also require an adult aged 18+ to be certified and accompany the minor while using the 3d printers. Ages 15 and older can become certified to work independently with the 3D printers.

Sean Gaskell African Harp Performance
Arts and Innovation HUB 113 N Walnut Street, Batesville, IN, United StatesNO Registration. Ages: All Ages Location: Event Room (Arts & Innovation HUB) Time: 5:30PM Sean Gaskell features songs on the kora- a 21 stringed West African harp. He studied under the extensive instruction of Moriba Kuyateh and the late Malamini Jobarteh in Gambia, and both Youssoupha Cissokho and Mamadou Cissokho in Senegal. The kora is traditionally played by oral historians known as Griots. Many songs featured on the kora preserve an 800 year history dating back to the founding of the Mande empire. Gaskell has presented adult, youth and family programs at over 400 libraries and a multitude of k-12 schools, colleges, universities and assisted living facilities throughout the United States and Canada.

Join us for a welcoming 6-Week Gentle Yoga Series designed to help improve flexibility, strength, balance, and relaxation in a supportive, encouraging environment. Whether you're new to yoga or have practiced before, this class offers options to meet you where you are. Participants may choose traditional mat yoga or supportive chair yoga throughout class, allowing everyone to practice in a way that feels comfortable for their body. Each one-hour class includes gentle movement, breathing exercises, balance work, stretching, and guided relaxation to promote overall health and well-being.
