The Innovation Studio and Create Studio provide a makerspace environment for community members of Southeastern Indiana to try something new or perfect their craft. The space promotes collaboration, community gathering, life-long learning, and entrepreneurship for individuals of all skill levels.

The Innovation Studio and Create Studio are open to visitors ages 15 and up to come and create independently. Visitors ages 12 – 14 are welcome with an adult.

The Innovation Studio is our main makerspace studio, and includes a variety of equipment for patrons to create with!

The Create Studio is our in-house recording studio that includes everything you need to record podcasts, music, videos, and much more!

The Innovation and Create Studios maintain the following operating hours: 

Monday – Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Thursday: CLOSED 
Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Visitors should review our Makerspace Policy and have a Liability Waiver on file to use the Innovation and Create Studios.

Once you have a liability waiver on file, you are welcome to come in and use the equipment at any time during our operating hours. 

Please note: the 3D printers, vinyl printer, and laser engraver require certification before use.

While all makerspace equipment is free to use, some machines do require materials that may be purchased for a fee.

• The Innovation and Create Studios close 30 minutes before the library closes. Please make sure you come with enough time to complete your project.
• Staff can help with the equipment and provide basic software support, but are unable to design files or provide creative input.
