This registration is for the 4PM program. Join us for a 30-minute Littles Craft at the library! Little ones will explore their creativity by using spray bottles to make their own art work. This will be a fun, hands-on activity! Ages: Free for kids ages 3-5 years old Location: Ms Sarah's Activity Room Time: 4-4:30pm Registration is required. Please sign your child(ren) up below. It's another Eli's Dog Club Meeting! Join Eli's Dog Club for some fake burger fun!  Come visit and read to our therapy dog Nanny and enjoy some fun activities. Come any time in the hour to have some fun and read to Nanny the Dog! Ages: Free for kids ages 3-11 years old Location: Meeting Room B Time: 5-6pm Come and go as you please.

Join us every Monday for a fun filled 30 minute interactive session that uses rhymes, songs, puppets, musical instruments and more to stimulate the learning process of babies and toddlers. This program is geared towards ages 0 to 3. Help your little one grow by: Building Early Literacy Skills Encouraging Language Development Supporting Social and Emotional Growth in a low-pressure setting Choose which time works best for your little ones. Choose between the 10am session or 11am session. NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

 Kids Chess ClubOur new Kids Chess Club invites young thinkers to learn, play, and grow through the game of strategy and fun. Whether your child is a complete beginner or already loves chess, this club offers a welcoming space to build skills, make friends, and enjoy friendly competition. Join us at the library as we help spark confidence, problem-solving, and a lifelong love of learning—one move at a time. This program will be parent led with help from Ms. Sarah (children's coordinator). If you have a chess set feel free to bring it. Some will be supplied. During the summer (June & July) there will be NO Storytime at the Library. Instead, join Miss Sarah at Liberty Park every Monday morning on the grass by the playground to spend time reading together. This will be cancelled in the event of rain. Ages: Free for kids ages 3-5 years old Location: Liberty Park Batesville, IN Time: 11-11:30am NO REGISTRATION. Our normal Storytime will return back to Tuesdays at 10am, 2pm or 6pm on August 18, 2026.

Read a Book: Love it, hate it, wish it had a sequel? Come share your love of reading and strong opinions with friends. We talk, we laugh, we play. We will meet every other month for a new book to read. The book you will receive is Emmy and the Incredible Shrinking Rat by Jonathan Bean. This FREE book club is for grades 3rd – 8th.
