Join us for a fun filled 45 minute session that incorporates books, songs, & activities to build early literacy skills. Storytime is held inside the Activity Lab in the Children’s area of the library. Storytime helps your pre-schooler grow by: Listening to stories, singing songs, and learning rhymes help children develop vocabulary, comprehension, and a love for reading. Storytime gives little ones a chance to meet other children, practice sharing and listening, and build confidence in a group setting. Sharing stories together creates special moments and helps parents learn fun ways to support early learning at home. NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED. This program is geared toward children ages 3 – 5.

DIY Halloween Pillowcase

Age: Ages 18+ Time: 1-3PM Location: Innovation Studio (Arts & Innovation HUB) This hands-on Halloween craft program offers adults a relaxed, creative environment to design and customize their own spooky pillowcase. Join us for a fun, creative workshop where you'll transform a blank 20"x 20" canvas throw pillow cover into a personalized accent piece for your home! You'll learn the process of weeding and heat-pressing vinyl onto soft textiles. Participants can choose from classic holiday motifs—such as bats, jack-o'-lanterns, haunted houses, or other Halloween classics. (Only the pillowcase is provided; pillow insert is not included.) Spaces are limited to ensure everyone gets plenty of workspace and hands-on guidance. Grab your spot today and get ready to pour your heart into something beautiful! A suggested donation helps keep our library programs thriving, so we can continue bringing learning, creativity, and community together for everyone. This class welcomes a donation to help support our programs and supplies, but it is completely optional.

By joining, you as a teen can build leadership skills, earn volunteer hours, and make a real impact on our community. Laser Engraver Certification Class 10AM

Ages: 12+(with an adult) 15+ independently Location: Innovation Studio (Arts & Innovation HUB) Time: 10AM-11AM Register for this in-person class to become a Certified User of the Laser Engraver in the Innovation Studio. Completion of this training is needed to use this machine at the Arts and Innovation Hub. Ages 12 to 14 may register for a learner’s permit certification, but also require an adult aged 18+ to be certified and accompany the minor while using the Laser Engraver .

Cricut Stencil Door Mat

While attending this program, you will be given a brief overview on how to create a stencil design using the Cricut Design Space, then, using pre-cut Cricut stencils, you will create a door mat by painting though the stencil onto the door mat. Ages: 15+ Time: 1PM-3PM Location: Event Room (Arts and Innovation HUB) All materials will be provided. Ages 15 and older can attend this class and work with the Cricut and heat press independently.

All coding experience levels welcome. This is a free program and all materials will be supplied. There are normally 2 kiddos to an iPad working together if the class fills up. Join us for a FREE Paper Shredding day at the library! We’re partnering with a professional shred service to help you safely dispose of sensitive documents. A secure shred truck will be on-site in the library parking lot, and your documents will be destroyed right there. Join us for a welcoming 6-Week Gentle Yoga Series designed to help improve flexibility, strength, balance, and relaxation in a supportive, encouraging environment. Whether you're new to yoga or have practiced before, this class offers options to meet you where you are. Participants may choose traditional mat yoga or supportive chair yoga throughout class, allowing everyone to practice in a way that feels comfortable for their body. Each one-hour class includes gentle movement, breathing exercises, balance work, stretching, and guided relaxation to promote overall health and well-being. Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat, if available. Yoga (grippy) socks are also encouraged. Limited yoga mats will be provided for participants who need one. Ages: 12+(with an adult) 15+ independently Location: Innovation Studio (Arts & Innovation HUB) Time: 1PM-2PM Register for this in-person class to become a Certified User of the 3D Printers in the Innovation Studio. Completion of this training is needed to use any of the four 3D printers at the Arts and Innovation Hub. Registration is required Ages 12 to 14 may register for a learner’s permit certification, but also require an adult aged 18+ to be certified and accompany the minor while using the 3d printers. Ages 15 and older can become certified to work independently with the 3D printers.

We have fun singing and playing all kinds of music! Music sheets are provided. The Ukulele Club meets every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at the library, from 6:00 - 7:30pm.
