Design a Summer Tumbler
Come and create a summer themed tumbler cup using the Cricut machine. We will explore how to develop a design using the Cricut machine and then adhere a unique summer pattern to a tumbler. Each participant will walk away with their own personalized summer tumbler. Tumbler cups and all materials will be provided. Ages 15 and older can attend this class and work with the Cricut independently. This is a FREE class. Ukulele Club
Activity Lab 131 N. Walnut St., Batesville, IN, United StatesThe Ukulele Club is a club for anyone who plays or wants to learn how to play the Ukulele. We have fun singing and playing all kinds of music! Music sheets are provided. The Ukulele Club meets in the (Activity Lab located in the children's area) of the library every 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month, from 6:30 - 7:30pm. Mother Goose 10AM ONLY
Activity Lab 131 N. Walnut St., Batesville, IN, United StatesPlease NOTE: There will be 10am Mother Goose ONLY through out JUNE and JULY. Join us every Monday for a fun filled 30 minute interactive session that uses rhymes, songs, puppets, musical instruments and more to stimulate the learning process of babies and toddlers. This program is geared towards ages 0 to 3. Help your little one grow by: Building Early Literacy Skills Encouraging Language Development Supporting Social and Emotional Growth in a low-pressure setting NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Our normal Mother Goose time will return back to Mondays at 10am or 11am on August 17, 2026.

SUMMER Stories at the PARK
Liberty ParkDuring the summer (June & July) there will be NO Storytime at the Library. Instead, join Miss Sarah at Liberty Park every Monday morning on the grass by the playground to spend time reading together. This will be cancelled in the event of rain. POOL PARTY
Batesville Memorial Pool 108 N Mulberry St, Batesville, IN, United StatesJoin us to celebrate the End of Summer Reading with FREE ENTRY to the Batesville Memorial Public Pool from 12pm to 2pm. After 2pm there will be the normal pool entry fee. Once you are in, stay the whole day if you would like (BMPL staff will leave at 2pm)! There will be door prize entry forms! Outdoors More Volksmarch
A Volksmarch (German for "people's walk") is a non-competitive, recreational walk or hike through scenic or historic areas, focusing on fitness, fun, and camaraderie; participants follow marked trails, get cards stamped at checkpoints, and enjoy nature, local culture, and sometimes refreshments. Come join us the last Tuesday of each month! This month we will meet at the park behind Beautiful World shop for an Oldenburg (History Walk). ALL AGES WELCOME Registration is REQUIRED All Children MUST be accompanied by an Adult Participants must be able to stay in between the two BMPL Guides while walking and must be able to follow all instructions while visiting special locations. Enjoy the fresh air, get active, and have fun with others while learning something new! Sublimation prints clear images and designs onto transfer paper with a heat-activated ink. When the paper is heated up, the ink is permanently transferred onto another surface. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop to use during the design portion of this class, but a personal device is not required to attend. Ages: 15+ Time: 1-3PM Location: Innovation Studio (Arts and Innovation HUB) In this program, we will use the sublimation printer to print a unique design and use the heat press to put the design onto a coffee mug. Each participant will walk away with their own personalized coffee mug. Coffee mugs and all materials will be provided. Ages 15 and older can attend this class and work with the heat press independently.

Gary Wintz Travel Talk

Gary was born and raised in the area and has traveled to over 200 countries. He is a tour leader to many foreign lands on all continents. His goal is always to bring people together to celebrate our unity as Hoosiers and humans - locally, nationally, and globally.
