Join us for a welcoming 6-Week Gentle Yoga Series designed to help improve flexibility, strength, balance, and relaxation in a supportive, encouraging environment. Whether you're new to yoga or have practiced before, this class offers options to meet you where you are. Participants may choose traditional mat yoga or supportive chair yoga throughout class, allowing everyone to practice in a way that feels comfortable for their body. Each one-hour class includes gentle movement, breathing exercises, balance work, stretching, and guided relaxation to promote overall health and well-being. Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat, if available. Yoga (grippy) socks are also encouraged. Limited yoga mats will be provided for participants who need one. Outdoors More Volksmarch
A Volksmarch (German for "people's walk") is a non-competitive, recreational walk or hike through scenic or historic areas, focusing on fitness, fun, and camaraderie; participants follow marked trails, get cards stamped at checkpoints, and enjoy nature, local culture, and sometimes refreshments. Come join us the last Tuesday of each month! This month we will meet at Villa Orchard for an Orchard Walk. ALL AGES WELCOME Registration is REQUIRED All Children MUST be accompanied by an Adult Participants must be able to stay in between the two BMPL Guides while walking and must be able to follow all instructions while visiting special locations. Enjoy the fresh air, get active, and have fun with others while learning something new! Whether your child is a complete beginner or already loves chess, this club offers a welcoming space to build skills, make friends, and enjoy friendly competition. Join us at the library as we help spark confidence, problem-solving, and a lifelong love of learning—one move at a time. This program will be parent led with help from Ms. Sarah (children's coordinator). If you have a chess set feel free to bring it. Some will be supplied. Needle Felting Class
Innovation Studio 113 N Walnut Street, Batesville, IN, United StatesNeedle Felting is one of the oldest forms of textile arts. Needle felting begins by rolling a small amount of wool and stabbing it with a needle. It is a quick hobby to learn, and many find it stress-relieving. We will be making a felted ghost! Laser Engraver Certification Class 10AM
Innovation Studio 113 N Walnut Street, Batesville, IN, United StatesRegistration is required. This is a FREE class. Ages: 12+(with an adult) 15+ independently Location: Innovation Studio (Arts & Innovation HUB) Time: 10AM-11AM Register for this in-person class to become a Certified User of the Laser Engraver in the Innovation Studio. Completion of this training is needed to use this machine at the Arts and Innovation Hub. Ages 12 to 14 may register for a learner’s permit certification, but also require an adult aged 18+ to be certified and accompany the minor while using the Laser Engraver .

Cricut Stencil Door Mat
Innovation Studio 113 N Walnut Street, Batesville, IN, United StatesRegistration Required. Meet with us at the Arts and Innovation Hub to make a Cricut Stencil Door Mat. While attending this program, you will be given a brief overview on how to create a stencil design using the Cricut Design Space, then, using pre-cut Cricut stencils, you will create a door mat by painting though the stencil onto the door mat. Ages: 15+ Time: 1PM-3PM Location: Event Room (Arts and Innovation HUB) All materials will be provided. Ages 15 and older can attend this class and work with the Cricut and heat press independently.
