Read a Book: Love it, hate it, wish it had a sequel? Come share your love of reading and strong opinions with friends. We talk, we laugh, we play. We will meet every other month for a new book to read. The book you will receive is Circus Mirandus by Cassie Beasley. This FREE book club is for grades 3rd – 8th. TAB members help shape teen programs, suggest new materials, promote library events, and create a welcoming, inclusive space for all young people in the community. By joining, you as a teen can build leadership skills, earn volunteer hours, and make a real impact on our community. It’s a fun way to get involved, meet new friends, and help create a library that reflects what teens truly want.

Whether your child is a complete beginner or already loves chess, this club offers a welcoming space to build skills, make friends, and enjoy friendly competition. Join us at the library as we help spark confidence, problem-solving, and a lifelong love of learning—one move at a time. This program will be parent led with help from Ms. Sarah (children's coordinator). If you have a chess set feel free to bring it. Some will be supplied.
