Felting Class
Meeting Room A 131 N. Walnut St., Batesville, IN, United StatesFelting is one of the oldest forms of textile arts. Needle felting is begun by rolling a small amount of wool and stabbing it with the needle. It is a quick hobby to learn, and many find it stress-relieving. Join us this month as we create perfect felted pumpkins, for your home! All material will be supplied. We will meet inside the library. Ukulele Club
Activity Lab 131 N. Walnut St., Batesville, IN, United StatesThe Ukulele Club is a club for anyone who plays or wants to learn how to play the Ukulele. We have fun singing and playing all kinds of music! Music sheets are provided. The Ukulele Club meets in the (Activity Lab located in the children's area) of the library every 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month, from 6:30 - 7:30pm. Batesville Library has FREE Ukuleles for checkout if you are interested in playing or learning to play. For more information about this club please contact Janey at psteph@etczone.com. Community Shred Day at BMPL
Batesville Memorial Public Library 131 N. Walnut St., Batesville, IN, United StatesFREE Paper Shredding Event. 5 Box Limit. Truck will leave before 1 PM if it is full. Items that will be accepted: Office Paper; Computer Paper; Copy Paper; Post-It Notes; Note Pads (no metal bindings); Magazines; Newspapers; Envelopes w/windows; Manilla Folders, Hanging File Folders; Staples; Binder Clips; Paper Clips; Rubber Bands. The truck will be in the BMPL parking lot from 10 AM until 1 PM unless it is full. This is open to ALL community members.
