Mother Goose – 10AM ONLY
Activity Lab 131 N. Walnut St., Batesville, IN, United StatesJoin us every Monday at 10AM ONLY in JUNE & JULY for a fun filled 30 minute interactive session that uses rhymes, songs, puppets, musical instruments and more to stimulate the learning process of babies and toddlers. Outdoors More Around the World
Liberty ParkGet Outdoors Around the World Challenge! THIS MONTH OUR COUNTRY IS AMERICA! We will be playing kickball and a few other games. Come play and enjoy the outdoors! Participants will meet at Liberty Park. WE WILL USE your email for updates & possible changes due to weather. Reap the benefits of outdoor play with Batesville Library’s Get Outdoors Around the WORLD challenge. This program is designed to give your family ideas to get outdoors more. There will be MONTHLY PROGRAMS/CHALLENGES with the focus on what other Countries do “outdoors” to have fun. After REGISTERING your family below you will receive a cinch sack, journal, tracker sheet and PASSPORT at the program if you have not received your just ask. You can join anytime throughout the year. Passports will be stamped anytime at the library. At each program participants will get a “Country” with a list of outdoor tasks to complete. Once ALL the tasks are complete for that Country, bring your sheet and Passport into the library to get stamped and pick up your small prize. **By registering, you will receive a few emails listing other outdoor events around the area from local parks and other community groups. Challenge runs from JANUARY 1 to December 1, 2025. We will have a special gathering at the END of the challenge for all who try to complete the challenge. REGISTER below by FAMILY name and # number of family members participating. Each month you will need to register for the next program.

Ukulele Club

We have fun singing and playing all kinds of music! Music sheets are provided. The Ukulele Club meets in the (Activity Lab located in the children's area) of the library every 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month, from 6:30 - 7:30pm. POOL PARTY
Batesville Memorial Pool 108 N Mulberry St, Batesville, IN, United StatesJoin us to celebrate the End of Summer Reading with FREE ENTRY to the Batesville Memorial Public Pool from 12pm to 2pm. After 2pm there will be the normal pool entry fee. Once you are in, stay the whole day if you would like (BMPL staff will leave at 2pm)! There will be door prize entry forms! Visit us under the BMPL tent! If you have a pool pass, you can still show it at the door. NO REGISTRATION. We hope to see you there.

Story Seekers Book Club-Youth

Felting Class

Needle felting is begun by rolling a small amount of wool and stabbing it with the needle. It is a quick hobby to learn, and many find it stress-relieving.
