Join us in making a Fall Tote! You will learn how to create a design using the Cricut Maker 4 with heat transfer vinyl, and adhering the image with the large heat press. Your personalized tote will be perfect for all your autumn outings! Ages: 15+ Time: 9AM-11AM Location: Innovation Studio (Arts and Innovation HUB) All materials will be provided. Ages 15 and older can attend this class and work with the Cricut and heat press independently.

Needle Felting is one of the oldest forms of textile arts. Needle felting begins by rolling a small amount of wool and stabbing it with a needle. It is a quick hobby to learn, and many find it stress-relieving. We will be making felted fall leaves! This is a FREE program and all material will be supplied. Ages: 18+ (adults) Location: Innovation Studio (Arts & Innovation HUB) Time: 1-3pm Registration is required.

Registration is required. This is a FREE class. Ages: 12+(with an adult) 15+ independently Location: Innovation Studio (Arts & Innovation HUB) Time: 9AM-10AM Register for this in-person class to become a Certified User of the 3D Printers in the Innovation Studio. Completion of this training is needed to use any of the four 3D printers at the Arts and Innovation Hub. Registration is required Ages 12 to 14 may register for a learner’s permit certification, but also require an adult aged 18+ to be certified and accompany the minor while using the 3d printers. Ages 15 and older can become certified to work independently with the 3D printers.

NO Registration. Ages: All Ages Location: Event Room (Arts & Innovation HUB) Time: 5:30PM Sean Gaskell features songs on the kora- a 21 stringed West African harp. He studied under the extensive instruction of Moriba Kuyateh and the late Malamini Jobarteh in Gambia, and both Youssoupha Cissokho and Mamadou Cissokho in Senegal. The kora is traditionally played by oral historians known as Griots. Many songs featured on the kora preserve an 800 year history dating back to the founding of the Mande empire. Gaskell has presented adult, youth and family programs at over 400 libraries and a multitude of k-12 schools, colleges, universities and assisted living facilities throughout the United States and Canada. |

You will learn to make a cozy using beginner sewing techniques just in time for fall soup season. All materials and fabric will be provided for this program. Ages 15 and older can attend this class and work with the Singer Sewing Machine independently.
