Join us for our 2026 Winter Reading Program!
This reading challenge is open to all adults 18+, with or without a library card. This reading challenge will begin on January 12, 2026 and run through February 8, 2026.
This is a fun 4 week reading challenge. For this challenge you will need to have the BEANSTACK APP on a device (we use this app for all of our reading challenges). If you are new to using Beanstack, below you will find a link that offers you a pdf on HOW TO USE BEANSTACK. QUESTIONS? Our staff at BMPL will be happy to answer questions you may have.
Once you have created an account or logged back in (if you have participated in past reading programs) you will have to click on the graphic that says Winter Reading to JOIN the CHALLENGE. Once in the challenge you can enter your BOOKS read. The app will let you know when you have earned a level to stop into the library and claim your prize or when you have received a virtual ticket to enter.

How To Participate in BMPL’s Winter Reading Challenge
- Using the links on this page, download the Beanstack App or use in your browser
- Register yourself in Beanstack or log back in.
- Record the minutes you have read in Beanstack.
- Any format counts – whether you are reading a physical book, ebook, audiobook, braille, or a live reading from an author
You can checkout ebooks and audiobooks using your Library card.
