BMPL’s Summer Reading Program will start in June (keep an eye out for the date)!
Our Summer Reading Program is a fun reading challenge for readers of all ages, with or without a library card!
To participate, you can track your progress through the Beanstack app on your phone or in a web browser.
Reading counts whether you are reading to yourself or someone else. All formats count towards your total — physical books, ebooks, audiobooks, braille, or live reading from an author.

Summer Reading Levels
- 0 – 4 years — 12 books per level
- 5 – 12 years — 70 minutes per level
- 13 – 17 years — 80 minutes per level
- 18 years & up — 240 minutes per level
EVEN LEVELS will receive virtual tickets in the Beanstack app. These tickets can be reviewed in the app under the Ticket Drawings tab. You will manually have to select your prize you would like to enter and add your tickets.
ODD LEVELS will receive a physical prize that can be claimed and picked up at the Circulation Desk in the Library. The Beanstack app will notify you when you’ve earned a prize.
