Innovation Studio

Registration Required. Ages: 15+ Time: 1PM-3PM Location: Innovation Studio (Arts and Innovation HUB) If you have attended the Into to Singer Sewing Machine program, or have basic sewing knowledge, join us in making a soup bowl cozy! You will learn to make a cozy using beginner sewing techniques just in time for fall soup season. All materials and fabric will be provided for this program. Ages 15 and older can attend this class and work with the Singer Sewing Machine independently.

Ages: 15+ Location: Innovation Studio (Arts & Innovation HUB) Time: 6PM-7PM Register for this in-person class on Intro to Cricut Maker 4 to learn how the machine functions, start a new project, and explore the variety of projects you can complete with the Cricut machine ranging from scrapbooking to personalizing clothing items and much more. Ages 15 and older can attend this class and work with the Cricut independently.

Needle Felting is one of the oldest forms of textile arts. Needle felting begins by rolling a small amount of wool and stabbing it with a needle. It is a quick hobby to learn, and many find it stress-relieving. We will be making a felted ghost! This is a FREE program and all material will be supplied. Ages: 18+ (adults) Location: Innovation Studio (Arts & Innovation HUB) Time: 1-3pm Registration is required.

Ages: 12+(with an adult) 15+ independently Location: Innovation Studio (Arts & Innovation HUB) Time: 10AM-11AM Register for this in-person class to become a Certified User of the Laser Engraver in the Innovation Studio. Completion of this training is needed to use this machine at the Arts and Innovation Hub. Ages 12 to 14 may register for a learner’s permit certification, but also require an adult aged 18+ to be certified and accompany the minor while using the Laser Engraver .

Registration Required. Meet with us at the Arts and Innovation Hub to make a Cricut Stencil Door Mat. While attending this program, you will be given a brief overview on how to create a stencil design using the Cricut Design Space, then, using pre-cut Cricut stencils, you will create a door mat by painting though the stencil onto the door mat. Ages: 15+ Time: 1PM-3PM Location: Event Room (Arts and Innovation HUB) All materials will be provided. Ages 15 and older can attend this class and work with the Cricut and heat press independently.

Ages: 15+ Location: Innovation Studio (Arts & Innovation HUB) Time: 6PM-7PM Register for this in-person class for Beginning Sewing with Singer Sewing Machines to learn about the machine functions, and how to start sewing. We will NOT be making a project. We will be going over the functions of the machine and how it works. Ages 15 and older can attend this class and work with the sewing machines independently.
