Batesville Booville is conjuring lots of tricks and treats for our season of harvest, haunts and Halloween. This program has been CANCELLED today due to weather conditions. Get Outdoors Around the World Challenge! This month's country is Greece! We will meet at Freedom Park (over by Batesville Tool & Die) for the Olympics. Come play and enjoy the outdoors with us! WE WILL USE your email for updates & possible changes due to weather. Reap the benefits of outdoor play with Batesville Library’s Get Outdoors Around the WORLD challenge. This program is designed to give your family ideas to get outdoors more. There will be MONTHLY PROGRAMS/CHALLENGES with the focus on what other Countries do “outdoors” to have fun. After REGISTERING your family below you will receive a cinch sack, journal, tracker sheet and PASSPORT at the program if you have not received your just ask. You can join anytime throughout the year. Passports will be stamped anytime at the library. At each program participants will get a “Country” with a list of outdoor tasks to complete. Once ALL the tasks are complete for that Country, bring your sheet and Passport into the library to get stamped and pick up your small prize. **By registering, you will receive a few emails listing other outdoor events around the area from local parks and other community groups. Challenge runs from JANUARY 1 to December 1, 2025. We will have a special gathering at the END of the challenge for all who try to complete the challenge.
