You can schedule a time with the link above or walk-ins are welcome. Help us reach our goal of 14 blood products. Remember to eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water before donating. Each blood donation can impact up to 3 local lives – be a hero and make a difference in our community.

Community Shred Day at BMPL
Batesville Memorial Public Library 131 N. Walnut St., Batesville, IN, United StatesFree Community Paper Shredding Event Protect your identity. Clear out the clutter. Join us for a FREE Paper Shredding Event at the library! We’re partnering with a professional shred service to help you safely dispose of sensitive documents. A secure shred truck will be on-site in the library parking lot, and your documents will be destroyed right there. Event Details Location: Library Parking LotTime: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PMCost: FREE  5 Box Limit. Items that will be accepted: Office Paper Computer Paper Copy Paper Post-It Notes Note Pads (no metal bindings) Magazines Newspapers Envelopes w/windows Manilla Folders Hanging File Folders Important Information This event is FREE for community members. Please remove large binder clips and metal fasteners before arriving. Event runs from 10 AM to 1 PM or until the truck reaches capacity.

Outdoors More Volksmarch
A Volksmarch (German for "people's walk") is a non-competitive, recreational walk or hike through scenic or historic areas, focusing on fitness, fun, and camaraderie; participants follow marked trails, get cards stamped at checkpoints, and enjoy nature, local culture, and sometimes refreshments. Come join us the last Tuesday of each month! This month we will meet at the Skatepark/Soccer Park path. ALL AGES WELCOME Registration is REQUIRED All Children MUST be accompanied by an Adult Participants must be able to stay in between the two BMPL Guides while walking and must be able to follow all instructions while visiting special locations. Enjoy the fresh air, get active, and have fun with others while learning something new!
