3D Printer Certification Class
Register for this in-person class to become a Certified User of the 3D Printers in the Innovation Studio. Completion of this training is needed to use any of the four 3D printers at the Arts and Innovation Hub. Registration is required Ages 12 to 14 may register for a learner’s permit certification, but also require an adult aged 18+ to be certified and accompany the minor while using the 3d printers. Ages 15 and older can become certified to work independently with the 3D printers. This is a FREE class. We have fun singing and playing all kinds of music! Music sheets are provided. This workshop covers the essential knots-including the Larks Head and the Square Knot to transform simple cotton cord into a beautiful piece of patriotic decor. NO experience needed. Outdoors More Volksmarch
A Volksmarch (German for "people's walk") is a non-competitive, recreational walk or hike through scenic or historic areas, focusing on fitness, fun, and camaraderie; participants follow marked trails, get cards stamped at checkpoints, and enjoy nature, local culture, and sometimes refreshments. Come join us the last Tuesday of each month! This month we will meet at the parking lot across from Weigels Funeral Home for a Batesville (History Walk). ALL AGES WELCOME Registration is REQUIRED All Children MUST be accompanied by an Adult Participants must be able to stay in between the two BMPL Guides while walking and must be able to follow all instructions while visiting special locations. Enjoy the fresh air, get active, and have fun with others while learning something new! This will be an interactive, hands-on training that helps you see the world through the eyes of someone living with dementia. Dementia Live is an immersive, high-impact simulation that helps care teams experience the sensory and cognitive challenges faced by people living with dementia. By mimicking symptoms such as tunnel vision, impaired processing, and altered touch, caregivers develop deeper empathy – and ultimately, provide more compassionate, person-centered care. Design a Summer Tumbler
Innovation Studio 113 N Walnut Street, Batesville, IN, United StatesCome and create a summer themed tumbler cup using the Cricut machine. We will explore how to develop a design using the Cricut machine and then adhere a unique summer pattern to a tumbler. Each participant will walk away with their own personalized summer tumbler.
