What is a planetarium?
The Drake Planetarium & Science Center’s Traveling Explorer Show comes directly to you. This program is the perfect way to provide you and your family with a truly immersive experience by presenting with sights and sounds at every angle. Drake Planetarium & Science Center will have their state-of-the-art, inflatable Explorer Dome at BMPL.
Our Drake Planetarium instructors are trained and endorsed by NASA Glenn Research Center for Education Department. They will be speaking about Eclipses, Tides, & Our Moon during the presentation to coincide with the solar eclipse happening on April 8th.
The Explorer Dome provides the perfect atmosphere for teaching and lively discussions that support learning in science, technology, engineering, and math. You bring the thirst for knowledge and we’ll give you outstanding instruction and a valuable experience.
We recommend grades 1st through Adult with the presentation that will be provided.
