The Batesville Memorial Public Library offers 4 public computers for adult patron use, 2 Early Literacy Stations that offer pre-loaded educational games and 1 touchscreen computer with pre-loaded educational games. Please keep in mind that ALL library computers DO NOT have CD drives.

All public patron computers have the following software installed:

• Windows 10 or MacOS Catalina or higher
• Microsoft Office
• Adobe PDF Reader
• Google Chrome

All computers have USB ports. USB Flash drives can be purchased at the circulation desk for $2.00.

For audio, patrons can purchase earbuds for $1.25 at the circulation desk. The library does NOT check out headphones.

Public patron computers can be used for 90 minutes with a guest patron paper pass found next to the computers. Patrons with a Library Card can use the library card bar code number to login. Library Card holders receive $1.00 in FREE prints each month that are automatically loaded onto your library card.

By choosing to use one of the public computers, patrons agree to abide by the BMPL’s Use of Computer and Internet Use Policy.
