On Thursday evening, March 3, 2016, we opened for performance poet, Taylor Mali, at the Wayne State University Student Center. Here’s one of the tunes we played that evening.

Thanks to our good friend, M.L. Liebler, for inviting and encouraging us.

In order to share the fun of learning music and playing an instrument, along with the joys of discovering old and new songs, we have started a Ukulele Club at the Batesville Memorial Public Library.  The club is for folks, teens through adults, to enjoy learning together in an easy, no-experience-necessary, fun format.

Meeting Day & Time:
1st and 3rd Thursday Each Month

Borrow a Soprano Ukulele

BMPL card holders can borrow a Soprano Ukulele kit from the library for a period of 3 weeks. The kit includes a ukulele, instruction book with CD, a tuner and a gig bag. Teach yourself to play, then come join us at the library for a beginners or players session. Much thanks to our wonderful Friends of the Library for supporting this program!
