Most teachers who come to their one-room schoolhouse in remote\, Alaska leave at the first smell of fish\, claiming that life there is just too hard.\nBut Miss Agnes is different — she doesn’t get frustrated with her students\, and she throws away old textbooks and reads Robin Hood instead! For the first time\, Fred and her classmates begin to enjoy their lessons and learn to read and write — but will Miss Agnes be like all the rest and leave as quickly as she came? \n\n\n\n\nParticipants will read the book for that month and discuss it the following month. DESCRIPTION:Felting is one of the oldest forms of textile arts. Needle felting is begun by rolling a small amount of wool and stabbing it with the needle. It is a quick hobby to learn\, and many find it stress-relieving. \nFor November we will continue making our cornucopia and filling it with a variety of Thanksgiving bounty. You can still join and sign up for November even if you missed October’s class. You can most definitely work on a smaller project and introduce yourself to felting!\nThis adult group meets on the first Thursday afternoon of each month to make a project.
