Participants will also receive the next book we will be reading for October which is A WRINKLE IN TIME by Madeleine L’Engle.\n\n\nA WRINKLE IN TIME summary from Amazon.com: \n\n\n\nIt was a dark and stormy night; Meg Murry\, her small brother Charles Wallace\, and her mother had come down to the kitchen for a midnight snack when they were upset by the arrival of a most disturbing stranger. \n“Wild nights are my glory\,” the unearthly stranger told them. “I just got caught in a downdraft and blown off course. Let me sit down for a moment\, and then I’ll be on my way. Speaking of ways\, by the way\, there is such a thing as a tesseract.” \nA tesseract (in case the reader doesn’t know) is a wrinkle in time. \n\n\n\n\nParticipants will read the book for that month and discuss it the following month. DESCRIPTION:Felting is one of the oldest forms of textile arts. Needle felting is begun by rolling a small amount of wool and stabbing it with the needle. It is a quick hobby to learn\, and many find it stress-relieving. \nFor October & November we will be making a cornucopia and filling it with a variety of thanksgiving bounty. This project will continue into November and is recommended to attend both. If you are only able to attend one class\, that is fine\, but you will not have as detailed of a project. \nThis adult group meets on the first Thursday afternoon of each month to make a project.
