Copies of Andy Weir’s The Martian will be made available at each library on July 1st while supplies last.

Little Sprouts Garden Club
Monday, August 5 | 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM & 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Registration is Required
Introducing young students to the technique of Straw Bale Gardening. With Sandra Dickey, Denean Williams, and Sr. Charity. This month’s meeting will go over predators in yoru garden. The program includes a scarecrow craft and a snack along with a story about plant predators.
Ages: Kindergarten – 2nd Grade. Space is limited, so please make sure you register!

Read to a therapy dog at the library! Meet Jill and her Golden Retriever, Belle or Lori and her Boarder/Poodle, Maggie! Your child can read for 15 minutes to Belle or Maggie. You can bring a book or choose one from our basket.
Space Poetry Slam @ Tyson

Interactive Discussion facilitated by Adam Henze.
Adam is a teaching artist & poet, lecturing & performing in over 30 U.S. states, Canada, Puerto Rico, Ireland & England. Adam is also an organizer in the poetry slam community, teaches a yearly summer writing series at the Indiana Women’s Prison, & is the director of a poetry writing & performance camp for high school youth.

Do you have questions about your laptop, tablet, or smartphone? Do you want to access the Library’s digital materials, but aren’t quite sure how? Would you like to take a look at a tablet or eReader before you buy one? Stop by Meeting Room B, on the fourth Thursday of each month, from 3 – 5 PM.
We will have digital devices that you can take a look at before buying! You can also bring your own device in to get help with any questions you may have!
