Meet the Author: Abby Scheiner

Abby Scheiner will present and read her book “Bear In The Air”, along with her other works.

Refreshments will be served.

There will also be a craft for children ages Pre-K – 2nd grade.

Independence Day Movie Screening

Stop by the Gibson Theatre for a free movie screening and discussion of Independence Day!

This program has been made possible through a grant from Indiana Humanities in cooperation with the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Little Sprouts Garden Club

Monday, June 8 | 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM & 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Registration is required.

Introducing young students to the technique of Straw Bale Gardening. With Sandra Dickey, Denean Williams, and Sr. Charity.

This month’s meeting will go over the root vegetables. The program includes a sock buddy craft and a snack along with a story about plants. Ages: Kindergarten – 2nd Grade.

Pinterest Projects for Kids: DIY Galaxy Night Lamp

Registration required

“Galaxy Night Light” Participants will receive a sunbeam LED night light with an off/off switch. They will remove the cover of the night light and replace it will a Christmas ornament that they have decorated with markers to create a galaxy of colors. Ages 3rd – 8th grade.

Modern Minimalism: When Less is More
