Free OnLine Business Book Club |
So many books, so little time. For all those busy people, the
Batesville Memorial Public Library has a free service: eleven
OnLine
Book Clubs that deliver books
electronically. Each day, Monday through Friday, the library emails
subscribers a portion of a book that takes about five minutes to read.
They're able to read two or three chapters from a book during the week. If
they like a book, readers can check it out of the library. Each week the
library features new books.
Our free Business Book Club delivers the latest ideas in
marketing, management, customer service, and ecommerce. Start every day
with new ideas that you can put to work in your job and your business.
Just five minutes a day and you're in touch.

Small Business Development Center Workshops |
The Mary Stewart Center for Entrepreneurship
posts upcoming seminars and workshops by the
Southeastern Indiana Small Business Development Center. Besides offering programs and services for businesses in the formative stages, the
Southeastern Indiana SBDC, headquartered in Madison, Indiana, also provides one-on-one counseling to existing businesses in such areas as business planning, marketing and market research tools,
financial planning and financing alternatives, and other topics.

The NxLeveL Entrepreneurial Training
Program
is a ten-session course that helps entrepreneurs learn the skills needed
to create, develop, and strengthen successful business ventures. NxLeveL
provides a practical, hands-on, common sense approach to developing a small
business -- whether just starting our or ready to grow. Time is allotted in each
class to assist attendees with completion of their business plans. For
