The library is pleased to be a partner with POV films and will offer a free preview screening of the POV film "Web Junkie" on Wednesday, May 20, at 6:30 PM. China is the first country to label Internet addiction a clinical disorder. This film by Shosh Shlam and Hilla Medalia, scheduled for PBS broadcast on July 13, investigates a Beijing rehab center where Chinese teens are being deprogrammed. Can the rest of the world be far behind as our relationship with the Internet blurs the boundaries between the real and the virtual?
